I HATE JEKYLL! I was up all night getting this shit to work and I was losing my mind. Maybe I am just stupid but the documentation they have is close to useless for me. I had to watch a tutorial online to get a grasp on what I was doing. But at least I can type these entries with markdown now and the entries are linked on the diary index automagically. Whether all the effort was worth it for that is questionable at best. Writing HTML by hand wasn’t that bad when you have VSCodium doing most of the typing for you.

I have a dentist appointment at 14:00 today. They have to put a more permanent filling in the hole that is in my tooth from a root canal I got a month ago. Honestly the worst part about these dentist appointments is filling out the mile long registration form for every damn appointment. My procrastinating brain can’t handle it.

Nintendo just announced the Switch 2 while basically all of America is either asleep or at work lmao. I haven’t cared about Nintendo products in a long time but I just thought that was funny.

Luckily the form for the dentist wasn’t as painful as the last time I had to do it. It’s been so long since I left the house for anything other than work so it’s gonna be interesting to leave the house for dentist lol. I’ve been awake for so long and yet I don’t feel tired at all which sucks. Anytime I feel like this the tiredness only comes when it is too late to get any sleep.

I got my dentist appointment. I was tense as all hell when they were drilling in my mouth but it wasn’t bad. They drilled my molar that I got the root canal on last month until it was short and flat and they put a temporary filling in my mouth. It feels weird. On Tuesday I will be having another appointment where they put in the permanent filling.

Kind of burnt out on working on the website after suffering through setting up Jekyll. We’ll see if I have the energy tomorrow. I’d like to make a custom theme for this diary. I have a couple ideas for how it will look and I am excited to try and bring my ideas into fruition. Jekyll is going to make theming super easy I think. The entirity of the styling for the diary can now just be one HTML template and a CSS file. I only have to edit those two files for the changes to apply accross the entire diary. It’s gonna be great :) I am tired asf
