I’ve already written one full week of entries. Writing these is putting into perspective how quickly days fly by for me. I don’t know if I should feel sad about that or not?

I have been slacking off on this music player thing. I made some simple buttons for the player but thats about it so far. Just been spending the night talking with S___ and spent far too much time surfing the web finding weird weird shit. Found this site wwwwwwwww.jodi.org. It feels like some strange ARG thing but it isn’t. It’s just incredibly strange for seemingly no reason. Also spent some time looking at the Ladybird browser. The amount of progress being made on that browser within only about 3 years of development is just insane. They already have WebGL support! I hope it will be a genuine competitor to Chrome and Firefox in the future. Also looked at Space Station 13. It’s some sort of roleplaying game that takes place on a space station. I wanted to play it but it seems nigh impossible to run on Linux and I don’t care enough to set up a virtual machine for it. It’d be cool to have multiplayer games to play because I don’t really play any multiplayer games. Would be nice to socialize a bit more even if it’s just with a silly roleplaying game online.

Using third party Youtube frontends like Freetube has become so annoying as of late. Youtube blocks VPN’s now because of AI crawlers using them. This means I almost can’t watch Youtube at all anymore with a VPN enabled. I have no plans to switch back to using youtube.com to watch videos though so maybe I will end up not using Youtube as much if things stay like this with third party frontends :(.

Had a dream where I was somehow in Japan and all I really did was play Touhou related things there lol. I think I was at an arcade or something? Like most of my dreams it didn’t make much sense. But I like cities and I like when my dreams have urban settings which is pretty often!

Played some Terraria with N___. I was kind of in a bad mood though because of some issues with my Steam Deck. It kept trying to check for updates and I literally had to switch TTY on the console and disable Network Manager for the stupid thing to realize it couldn’t update. Took like 30+ minutes of troubleshooting to fix while N___ was waiting for me. I feel like I was being a dick when we played because of my shit mood and I feel bad about that.

Was reading this blog post and I really need to learn how to use a static site generator tool. It’d save me so much time copy pasting shit to write these entries. I think I will learn Jekyll.
