Entry 69! Nice. This morning I was already in a sour mood (thanks to Enter the Gungeon heh) but seemingly right on cue my internet starts having issues. It’s been 2 hours and things seem better now but not entirely. It’s mostly just really slow and I haven’t been able to figure out which device is being a problem. Probably the router in my room. That thing is a piece of crap and likes to stop working sometimes. Or maybe my laptop because Linux is gonna Linux. My self-hosted things went offline for a little bit. Good thing it was probably only me who was around to notice. I have another person who uses my IRC client/bouncer but I don’t think they were online thankfully. I might end up moving the IRC service to a remote server in the near future. Since one person who is not me is using it I feel more of an obligation for good uptime and stability.

I found a strange internet time capsule today that I’m gonna leave a link to here mostly for myself. It’s a digital diary from 2001-2004. link. I haven’t read much of it but I just think the fact that something like this has stayed online 22 years later is neat and should be appreciated.

I slept through much of the day. Turns out Socks was sleepy too hehe :)

Turns out while I was asleep things went horribly wrong. My piece of shit router dropped my internet entirely for 2.5 hours. I had to restart my router to fix it.

This only annoys me so much because I’m not the only person using this The Lounge instance.

My messed up sleep schedule is making my life difficult right now. I keep sleeping through the day which I need to be awake for to work on my car. My step-dad will only use his car battery charger on my car in the morning since he is worried somebody will try and steal it. Any time I am not working I just rapidly shift towards becoming entirely nocturnal which is fine when I don’t have to do things during the day :/
