My shitass brain was feeling generous and gave me a whole 5 hours of sleep. I needed to piss so bad when I woke up except somebody was hogging the bathroom so I went outside but there’s not really anywhere private you can go without walking into some snow so I ended up walking in like 6 inch deep snow with just my slippers on and probably almost gave myself frostbite. Worth it.

I spent far too much time figuring out a different text editor/IDE because VSCode drives me crazy. I’m using Neovim now because VSCode while it has a lot of keyboard shortcuts, most of them suck and I don’t feel like spending hours rebinding each and every key to get it how I want it so Neovim it is. I played Puyo Puyo on my 3DS which is always fun. Honestly just very fun puzzle games! It’s a lot harder for me to wrap my head around compared to Tetris which feels completely natural to play. Also the “story” mode is incredibly silly. I also passed out so my sleep schedule is messed up once again. Although, me saying that implies that my sleep schedule was ever stable which it never is.

For my C learning I am trying to remake some of the basic coreutils found on Unix-like OS’s. I have been learning some of the POSIX APIs. The only tool I have reimplimented is pwd as there is an API that has the exact same functionality. It feels pretty cool interacting with these lower level APIs like this.
