Had to watch my sisters today before work. Surprisingly they allowed me to sleep until 11. They were pretty crazy today but it could have been worse. I played Kirby with the older one again. I discovered today that she has been playing Kirby games on her 3DS without me which makes me happy. My mom told me she got a Kirby shirt to I think I have officially gotten her into Kirby.

So at work, our deli manager indeed never returned so she is gone for good. The owner is looking to promote the night manager who is sort of the second in command into the manager of the entire deli. He said, though that he will need a $3 raise at the minimum if they promote him or else he is done working there too. So hopefully they give him that raise or else we’re even more fucked than we already are. Hopefully everything gets figured out though because I am stuck on this ship as I have nowhere else to go. This is the only real business out here. Other than that drama though it was a chill day although it did briefly get busy but we handled it no problem.

I may have ummm impulse purchased a New 3DS XL. It was $200 ;-;. I just don’t like my New 2DS XL which is the one I own currently. When I got it years ago I figured since I don’t use the 3D feature I can just ask for a 2DS for Christmas but what I didn’t know was that the build quality was significantly reduced. It just feels cheap and it drives me crazy. Regardless, I just think 3DS’s are neat! It’s probably my favorite handheld console next to the Steam Deck. Maybe my other sister can have the 2DS. I dunno. The 3DS I just purchased though was a used model I got on eBay. I saw nothing but good reviews but hopefully it shows up in good quality. I could also sell the 2DS if I wanted. I have taken very good care of it. There are some light scuff marks on the outside but the inside still looks brand new.
