Woke up at 10 today. Spent most of my time reading the C book. The programming projects are hard but not too hard which I like although they take forever as there are about 8 per chapter. I have work at 17 today, nice and late. Was messaged asking if I could come in early and the answer is always no. I am a person of habit. Can’t handle changes to my daily schedule.

So, seems like shit is hitting the fan at work. Our deli manager left early today with a note saying she was “done for good”. Apparently this was caused by the fact that the new hire is the sister of somebody else who used to work here who was…not the best worker. I think there is more to it than that but it is a pretty silly reason. Like, just because somebody is related with a bad worker does not mean they will be bad at their job as well. I’m just hoping she comes back tomorrow because if she doesn’t, we’re pretty fucked. This kitchen does not run without her. I really need to get my car fixed so I can get off this sinking ship before it’s too late…Probably gonna play some 2kki and read the C book before going to bed.
