Stayed up last night until like 3 AM working on some Javascript stuff. I wrote my first real bit of javascript with a simple program that helps with navagating the site!

I’d like to add some sort of rain effect to the website. It’d be really pretty. Maybe that can be the next thing I will use JS for. Forced myself to wake up at noon today so I could have some time to do things before work at 15:00.

Work was pretty meh today. I ended having to do literal dumpster diving today. Earlier in the shift I was told to go bring a christmas tree to the dumpster. So I did that and later my boss calls me and tells me that I wasn’t supposed to throw it out and that I had to get it out from the dumpster. Despite just doing what I was told somehow it was my responsibility to go get it out from the dumpster. So that was fun.

When I was walking home and approached the door I heard a meowing sound. I thought it was a stray cat or something but couldn’t see anything so I turn on my flashlight and see my cat, Socks at the door outside. He has always been an indoor cat so him somehow getting outside was very scary. I live in an area with a lot of cars moving around so I’m thankful nothing bad happened to him. I think he was out there for a couple hours at least. At least it wasn’t too cold out today. He has been trying to get outside lately and its been scary the times it has happened. I don’t know what I would do if something bad happened to him…

Stayed up late to finish GTA 4’s story. It was a very fun experience. I played GTA 4 when I was a kid and never appreciated all the little details in Liberty City that I do now. I’m glad I replayed it. I don’t think I liked the story back when I was a kid due to how real and dark it is but that is why I like it today. I really enjoyed how dark and gritty the game is.
