Woke up at 9:30 to my phone ringing and a text message from my workplace asking me to come in at 10. No thanks. Today is my day off. I went back to bed and woke up at noon. Spent some time looking at Neocities sites to try and gather some inspiration for my own site.

Having issues with autoplaying music on my site. I know browsers are picky about autoplaying audio so I wonder how other sites do it. It works fine on Firefox but nowhere else. I might just add a music player of sorts to the site.

It is freezing cold yet again. It makes me not want to leave my bed. I was so productive yesterday but I have a feeling that won’t be the case today.

Decided to bedrot and play some GTA 4 in bed. The vehicle physics in that game are so funny. You drive a big heavy vehicle like a bus and suddenly you are just immune to other cars.

My workplace reaches out to my parents when they can’t reach me and it is seriously fucking annoying. Is it too much to ask to be left alone on my days off? Now I have to deal with shit from my parents. I am 20 years old and yet it feels like I am back in high school with these obnoxious people at work.

I feel like a majority of the things I say just get ignored as of late. At least half of the things I say online just end up ignored or I get some dry ass response as a reply. Its frustrating.

I asked one of my friends who is good at web design stuff for help with making reactive websites and how to work with a backend and recieved a helpful lecture about it. I am trying to learn Javascript now because I am actually clueless on how to do it despite making this site! After that I would like to maybe rewrite this site with a framework like Vue then work on a proper backend for the site with Django, Flask, or Ktor. I haven’t decided yet. We’ll see how long that takes…

Ended up ordering some pizza for dinner. My web design friend left me with a basic challenge to learn the ropes of JS so that is what I am doing now. JS is really annoying. I can see why there are so many JS frameworks to make things easier. Regardless I am feeling pretty motivated to improve my little site.

Played some more GTA 4 and my friend N___ asked to call me and we ended up playing some Terraria which was pretty fun :) I have work tomorrow. Not sure how the days pass by so fast but I have been more productive than usual lately so they didn’t feel as short as they normally do.
