So this is my first diary entry. Today has been an eventful day (for my standards) so lets get into it.

Today, my friend S___ brought up a Neocities site I haven’t thought about in a long time, dimden.dev. Specifically she was referring to the photo album part of the site. Exploring the site some more inspired me to come back to my site and add more things and try to personalize it more. Maybe my favorite part of the site though is the diary. I really enjoy reading about other peoples day, their thoughts and feelings, etc. It made me want to put myself out there more by starting my own diary with my own entries.

Later that morning on my stepdad knocks on my door and tells me that one of my little sisters is sick and that I would have to watch them which is fine by me. I still have to bring the other sister to the school bus though. It was absolutely freezing outside. -12C with 80 km/h winds. Even with a jacket I was freezing cold. I had my hands exposed to the outside for about a minute and I think if another minute passed like that I would have gotten frostbite. Yeah. The bus arrived early and one of the kids missed their stop. Once my sister was on the bus I bought a breakfast sandwich from the nearby store.

Once I was back home I think I just spent some time looking at the dimden.dev site some more. I discovered Atabook which was also made by Dimden. I signed up for that to replace the defunct 123Guestbook I still had on my site. I was having a weird issue where I had S___ try to sign the guestbook but it kept telling her that the sign had to be approved? On my end I could find no way to approve it. I ended up having to turn on manual reviewing and then I could approve her signs so I guess I will have to manually approve all guestbook signatures from now on. Oh well.

My sister woke up and came downstairs and I decided to be nice and let her play video games in my room which I don’t do often. We played Teardown which is a game about destroying buildings and stuff in a voxel world. It was pretty fun and we played for a few hours.

At about 15:30 my mom came home and I was alone in my room again. I got back to work on my website, I drew the custom logo that you see now which replaces the quirky 90’s fire text I had before. I included the HTML <p> tag in the logo because as you can see, I ramble a lot and the p tag is my best friend. I hope I will be able to keep up with writing entries and don’t forget about doing it! I want to add some unique styling for the diary pages so that will be coming soon but it is 21:45 as I write this and I wanted to get my entry out before midnight. That’s all for now I guess.
